There are 2 annual meetings hosted by the Parish Council.  This year, in Prees they will both be held on May 17th, with the Annual Parish Meeting following the Annual Parish Council Meeting.  Wondering what the difference is?

The Annual Parish Council Meeting  sees the election of the Chair and Vice Chair of the Parish Council for the ensuing year and sets the parameters for the year's business ahead.  It also incorporates a Full Parish Council Meeting with all the ordinary sorts of business that that covers.

The Annual Parish Meeting  is not a meeting of the Parish Council  (although it is hosted by it!) but is intended as a meeting for the electors in a Parish to air their views about what it would like the Parish Council to do to improve life for those living in that Parish.

All parishioners are warmly welcomed to either or both meetings.  If you would like to raise a matter with the Parish Council, contact the clerk or any of the councillors, or turn up to speak to the Parish Council in the time set aside for this.
